Truly unique technology for your dog

Seresto® is a unique polymer matrix collar that offers a continuous supply of two active ingredients: imidacloprid and flumethrin for effective 8-month protection against fleas and ticks. That's one convenient, non-greasy, odorless flea and tick collar instead of 8 monthly treatments.

The active ingredients are stored within the collar. They are released in low concentrations and are distributed over your dog's hair and skin surface for 8 months. As active ingredients wear off over time, Seresto® for dogs continuously replenishes the skin and coat with a new supply of active ingredients. Fleas and ticks are killed through contact with the active ingredients — no biting required.

Ask a Question

Question:
Can I use the large size collar on a smaller than 18 pound dog. Should I trim it to fit. I bought the large thinking y dog weighed 18 lbs. But he is 12.
Answer:
You shouldn't use a Seresto large collar on a smaller dog as the dosage is different. We recommend getting a Seresto small dog collar instead.
Question:
Is there an easy way to remove the collar? My dog gets a haircut every 6 weeks.
Answer:
Yes, the collar is very easily adjustable even after putting it on your dog. You can remove it when your dog is about to get a haircut and put it back after that.
Question:
My dog id a 8 week old Goldendoodle that currently weights 10 pounds but will probably be at 20 in the nest month? Maybe I should wait until she is at 20 ponds before getting one?
Answer:
That would be a good idea since Seresto gives your dog up to 8 months of protection.
Question:
My dog is 19lbs which collar size is better small or large ? Thank you
Answer:
Since it's over 18lbs, large collar will be better. However, always consult your vet before placing any order.
Question:
Can the small collar be used for a 1 and 1/2 lb dog? He is not a puppy.
Answer:
Yes, you can but not sure whether it will be tight enough for his neck. Will advise topicals like Frontline Plus or chewables. You can go to www.petbucket.com for more products.
